Congratulations on purchasing the Saitek Gaming Keyboard. Please follow the simple steps below to connect your new keyboard to your PC. The Command pad cable Insert the Command pad’s data cable into the socket at the back of the main Keyboard. The USB cable Insert the Gaming Keyboard’s USB plug into one of your PC’s free USB sockets. Well, to support that, I can understand why someone might need one of these one-handed keyboards. For me, I like the ergonomics of this one-handed keyboard, mostly because it has a bigger wrist rest. Which with this particular keyboard, yes it’s all plastic, but there is more room for my wrist to rest then on my gaming keyboard. That's the main point for me that it makes gaming a little more comfortable than my traditional gaming keyboard. But I can also see this working well for people that use just a conventional keyboard and want something that has more of a gaming look to it; then they might go for this option. Since most games have standardized the uses of W, A, S, D as their primary movement keys.

But, the one-handed keyboard would only work good in some games, but not all games. For games like shooters, and adventure games, it would work pretty decent since most of the time your control your movement, and that's about it. But for games like MMO’s this keyboard would be difficult to use because those types of games typically rely on a lot of keys on the keyboard.
